Blood cultures show bug growth, bacteria of some sort. Will be investigated. 48 hours. Antibiotics are on their way. Temperature is 101.6, probably because of the bugs. Damn bugs!
Pretty sure toddler phase is coming soon. This morning Trevor was really restless and squirmy and kept trying to get his wrist untied. This caused his IV to come out. Man, the nurses are about to hate him. They have no idea what they're about to be dealing with. Well, maybe they do; hopefully they do.
Nothing annoys Trevor more than wrinkles in the sheets under him. He keeps wrestling around trying to get comfortable. But hey, I would rather him be worrying about his sheets and pillows than trying to pull all his tubes out like last time around. It's almost like he gets it this time; he knows not to mess with his vent, catheter or IV's. THIS AIN'T HIS FIRST RODEO!!!
Hi Alyssa, this is Cathy (UJ's sister). I am praying for your brother and for all of you.I followed Trevor last time with the help of Aunt Kim and your step mom. He has youth on his side and the power of prayer. Trevor is very fortunate to have the wonderful family and friends that he does. Especially having you for his sister, your love for him shows through in your postings! Stay strong and positive and have faith. Love, Cathy
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy. Every prayer counts!! :)
